The Nashville Fair is proud to present its annual Fairest of the Fair Pageant, taking place on Friday, September 11th and Sunday, September 13th in the Events Arena. The pageant features multiple age divisions, including a chance to win the special title of Miss Photogenic in each age category. The prestigious Fairest of the Fair crown will be awarded to one standout contestant from the 16–20 age group, who will serve as the official hostess and representative of the Fair throughout the year. She’ll also advance to compete in the statewide Tennessee Fairest of the Fair Pageant this coming January in Murfreesboro.
Rules:
ENTRY DEADLINE: Tuesday, September 1, 2026 @ 10:00PM (NO EXCEPTIONS). No late entries will be accepted and all entry fees must be paid by the deadline.
ENTRY FEE: $50 for all age groups. Entry fee MUST be accompanied at time of registration. Entry Fee includes fair admission for the contestant plus one chaperone. Additional tickets can be purchased at a discount

ALL CONTESTANTS MUST: Register online at: nashfair.fun and
MUST complete all online forms in the name of the contestant.
OPTIONAL CATEGORY: Most Photogenic is offered in each of the 10 Divisions for an additional $15 fee. Photogenic entries are due by the deadline stated above and photos must be emailed to
pageant@nashfair.fun with the contestant name and age in the subject line. Only one (1) entry per contestant allowed.
ALL Pageant contests will take place in the EVENTS ARENA at 320 Wedgewood Ave on The Fairgrounds Nashville in EXPO 3.
Ms. Eligibility (ages 21+): Will compete as of age on the day of the pageant. Contestants may be single, married or divorced; Contestants may or may not be pregnant and/or have children; Not have been found guilty of a felony; Currently be and always have been of the female gender; Proper pageant attire is recommended.
Ms. Contestants (ages 21+): will compete in Beauty and On-Stage Question.
Nashville Fairest of the Fair Eligibility (ages 16-20): Must have reached her 16th birthday at the time of the pageant, but not her 21st birthday on or before December 31, 2026. Must not be or plan to be married, or have or plan to have a child before September 11, 2026; Not have been found guilty of a felony; Currently be and always have been of the female gender; Wear a formal, floor length gown. Reign will conclude September 2027 pageant date.
Nashville Fairest of the Fair (ages 16-20): Will serve as an official hostess and representative of The Nashville Fair throughout the year. Must wear crown and sash at each event. In January, she will compete in Murfreesboro, TN for the title of Tennessee's Fairest of the Fair January 14-16, 2027. If you cannot represent The Nashville Fair at the January competition, please do not compete.
The new FOF must attend the Nashville Fair on Saturday, September 12th and Sunday, September 13th as well as make appearances throughout the remainder of the fair through Sunday, September 20th.

Miss Nashville FOF Attire:
Interview: Black pants (no jeans) with provided t-shirt. Evening Gown and On-Stage Question. On-Stage Question will be in Evening Gown.
***All contestants for the MISS NASHVILLE FAIREST OF THE FAIR DIVISION (ages 16-20) must be residents of Tennessee and live in a county that does not have a pageant that has a preliminary Tennessee Association of Fair 'Fairest of the Fair' pageant. Eligible counties include: Davidson, Shelby, Tipton, Fayette, Haywood, Hardeman, McNairy, Chester, Crockett, Lake, Wayne, Perry, Montgomery, Marshall, Moore, Rutherford, Cannon, Grundy, Marion, Jackson, Pickett, Bradley, McMinn, Monroe, Blount, Loudon, Roane, Campbell, Union, Grainger, Hamblen, Hawkins, Sullivan, Unicoi, Carter, Johnson, Sumner. All other divisions must be residents of Tennessee.

*Crowning will occur for each division following the Nashville Star Special Needs Division.

ATTIRE: Attire is Sunday best for the younger divisions with age-appropriate hair and makeup. As the ages progress, proper pageant attire is recommended.
JUDGING: Divisions (ages 0-15) will compete in BEAUTY ONLY. All divisions except Miss Nashville Fairest of the Fair (16-20 years old) are open statewide.
*We will begin promptly at 12:30pm and go in age group order. Dressing area has limited space. NO Hair & Makeup Artists will be allowed onsite. You must come mostly ready and can utilize the dressing room for outfit changes only. Only females will be allowed in the dressing room.

All Winners in each division should plan to stay for the entirety of the pageant contests on Sunday, September 13th for our Crowning Court Photos at the end of the day. As well, while it is not mandatory, we will request appearances be made, if possible during the remainder of the fair week's events for division winners. Please note Miss Nashville Fairest of the Fair (16-20 years old) is required to make appearances throughout the week. Tickets will be provided for these appearances.
