The Nashville Fair is proud to present its first annual Fairest of the Fair Pageant, taking place on Saturday, September 6th in the Events Arena. Open to girls ages 0 to 21, the pageant features multiple age divisions, including a chance to win the special title of Miss Photogenic in each age category. The prestigious Fairest of the Fair crown will be awarded to one standout contestant from the 16–21 age group, who will serve as the official hostess and representative of the Fair throughout the year. She’ll also advance to compete in the statewide Tennessee Fairest of the Fair Pageant this coming January in Murfreesboro.


Rules:

ENTRY DEADLINE: Thursday, September 4, 2025 @ 10:00PM (NO EXCEPTIONS). No late entries will be accepted and all entry fees must be paid by the deadline.

ENTRY FEE: $50 for all age groups. Entry fee MUST be accompanied at time of registration. Entry Fee includes fair admission for the contestant plus one chaperone. Additional tickets can be purchased at a discount HERE. Parking fee is $10.

OPTIONAL CATEGORY: Most Photogenic is offered in each of the 7 Divisions for an additional $15 fee. Photogenic entries are due by the deadline stated above and photos must be emailed to pageant@nashfair.fun with the contestant name and age in the subject line. Only one (1) entry per contestant allowed.

ALL Pageant contests will take place in the EVENTS ARENA at 320 Wedgewood Ave on The Fairgrounds Nashville in EXPO 3.

***All contestants must be residents of Tennessee and live in a county that does not have a preliminary Tennessee Association of Fair 'Fairest of the Fair' pageant. Eligible counties include: Davidson, Shelby, Tipton, Fayette, Haywood, Hardeman, McNairy, Chester, Crockett, Lake, Wayne, Perry, Montgomery, Marshall, Moore, Rutherford, Cannon, Grundy, Marion, Jackson, Pickett, Bradley, McMinn, Monroe, Blount, Loudon, Roane, Campbell, Union, Grainger, Hamblen, Hawkins, Sullivan, Unicoi, Carter, Johnson, Sumner.


Order of Events:

Saturday, September 6th @ 1:00pm

Fairest of the Fair (Ages 0-15 yrs)

Doors Open at 12:00pm. DO NOT LINE UP BEFORE THIS TIME AS ACCESS WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE.

We will begin promptly at 1:00 pm and go in age group order. Dressing area has limited space. NO Hair & Makeup Artists will be allowed onsite. You must come mostly ready and can utilize the dressing room for outfit changes only.

The following categories begin promptly at 1:00pm:

Baby Miss (0-23 months) Must have on stage escort
Tiny Miss (2-4 years old)
Little Miss (5-7 years old)
Young Miss (8-9 years old)
Pre-teen Miss (10-12 years old)
Junior Miss Fairest of the Fair (13-15 years old)

Crowning will occur immediately following each division.

ELIGIBILITY: For the above divisions, contestant will compete according to their age on the day of the pageant. Must not be or plan to be married, or have or plan to have a child before September 6th, 2025; Not have been found guilty of a felony; Currently be and always have been of the female gender.

ATTIRE: Attire is Sunday best for the younger divisions with age-appropriate hair and makeup. As the ages progress, pageant attire is recommended.

JUDGING: These divisions will compete in Beauty only. There will be NO ON-STAGE QUESTION for any of the above divisions.


ALL CONTESTANTS MUST: Register online at: nashfair.fun and MUST complete all online forms in the name of the contestant.


Saturday, September 6th @ 5:00pm

Fairest of the Fair (Ages 16-20 yrs)

Winner will serve as an official hostess and representative of The Nashville Fair throughout the year and must wear crown and sash at each event. In January, winner will compete in Murfreesboro, TN for the title of Tennessee’s Fairest of the Fairs during January 15-17, 2026. Reign will conclude on September 12th, 2026 and the winner must crown the new winner at that time. If you cannot represent The Nashville Fair at the state competition in January, please do not enter.

JUDGING: Beauty and On-Stage Question

ELIGIBILITY: Must have reached her 16th birthday at the time of the pageant, but not her 21st birthday on or before December 31, 2025; Must not be or plan to be married, or have or plan to have a child before September 6th, 2025; Not have been found guilty of a felony; Currently be and always have been of the female gender.

ATTIRE: Wear a formal, floor length gown.

Please note: Should you win the Fairest of the Fair, you will compete at state with judging based a personal interview, on-stage question and beauty.



Prizes

Baby Miss, Tiny Miss, Little Miss, Young Miss and PreTeen Miss Divisions:
Winner - Crown, Sash & Flowers
1st Runner-Up – Flowers, Trophy
2nd Runner-Up – Flowers, Trophy

Junior Miss Fairest of the Fair:
Winner - $150 Cash Prize, Crown, Sash & Flowers
1st Runner-Up – Flowers, Trophy
2nd Runner- Up – Flowers, Trophy

Fairest of the Fair:
Winner - $250 Cash Prize, Crown, Sash, Flowers, paid stay and fees covered in Murfreesboro for the Tennessee State Pageant in January 2026.
1st Runner-Up – Flowers, Trophy
2nd Runner-Up – Flowers, Trophy

All Winners in each division should plan to stay for the entirety of the pageant contests on Saturday, September 6 for our Crowning Court Photos when all pageants have ended.

While it is not mandatory, we will request appearances be made by the Fairest of the Fair winner (16-20 yrs winner) during Fair week (Sept. 5-14, 2025) for a few major events to represent the fair as the crowned winner. We would love to have our younger FOF winners come back to the fair as well if they are able and willing in their sash and crown. Tickets will be provided for these appearances.
