Join local nonprofit Daybreak Arts for a Jam Session & Open Mic at the Nashville Fair on the Skyliner Stage Sunday the 13 at 2:00pm, led by Daybreak volunteer musicians and Daybreak Artists. This community music event is part of Daybreak Arts’ new music program, which creates a welcoming, accessible space for people experiencing homelessness and housing insecurity to reconnect with music.
Everyone at the Nashville Fair is invited to participate, whether you’re an experienced musician, just getting started, or simply love listening to live music. Participants can perform original songs or covers, play independently or with others, or sit back and enjoy the session. There is no audition or required skill level, and no expectation to perform.
Daybreak Arts will provide instruments and equipment, and volunteer musicians will be available to accompany and support participants who may not have an instrument, band, or musical partner.
