Mikayla is a Tennessee native who grew up between the Memphis and Nashville areas. She discovered her love for music at just five years old and began writing songs at 13.
Inspired by her own life experiences, Mikayla uses songwriting to share stories of faith, hope, and the journey God has placed before her. Her heart is to glorify Jesus through every song she writes while connecting with others through authentic, heartfelt music.
With a deep love for the Christian-country sound, Mikayla’s musical style was shaped by childhood memories of listening to K-LOVE on the radio and watching Carrie Underwood light up the Grand Ole Opry stage. Today, she brings those influences together to create music that is both country-rooted and faith-filled.
