Dadbods started as an acoustic offshoot from the 4-piece band, Double Take, several years ago when they were contacted about performing at a Farm-to-Table Dinner with an All Yellowstone Playlist. Lead singer, John
Lankford, and lead guitar player/vocalist, Trent Rutledge, answered the challenge and found out that they loved doing this for a change from the normal cover band setlist.
Their 30-year friendship shows through in their music and harmonies. The name, Dadbods, is kind of self-explanatory as they’re both Dads in their early 40’s rocking some Dadbods. They’ve played venues all over Middle TN from Churches to Broadway and a little bit of everything in between. If you’re looking for a solid mix from country to pop with a little rock and americana too, this will be the group for you!
