Time: 6:30 PM - 9:30 PM

Imagine the raw, honest, hard-hitting lyrics of Alanis Morissette with the vocal powerhouse of Adele, all with a Southern country edge—and a cane she makes look iconic—and you get Bella Marquez. Bella is a disabled vocalist and songwriter who uses her music as advocacy for human—specifically disabled— rights. Hailing from what used to be middle-ofnowhere Georgia, she incorporates that country twang and blues feel into her pop/rock anthems such as “Dodging Bullets,” “Girl with a Cane,” and “The War,” many of which were worked on at Jan Smith Studios back in Atlanta.

She’s even won a People’s Choice Award for her song “Fake Happiness” at the Red Clay Theater run by Eddie Owen, the owner of Eddie’s Attic. Currently, Bella is a 23-year-old graduate of Belmont University’s School of Music as a commercial voice major with an emphasis in songwriting and has remained in Nashville since graduation. She is an alumna of the school’s virally successful gospel/R&B ensemble known as Voxology and currently sings in Immanuel Baptist Church’s well-known choir. When she’s not working on her music, Bella is teaching music at Bach to Rock and continuing her activism for a better, more accessible world on her shared TikTok account entitled 2canes1heart. Her debut single, "Bourbon Blues,” came out on June 26th, 2026, and she has another on the way! Be sure to follow her @bellamarquezmusic so you don’t miss out on any new releases or exciting news.
