Hudson Wetzel & Sophia Verbrugge (Liberty Music Academy). Liberty Music Academy (LMA) is a Nolensville-based youth music program dedicated to giving young musicians real-world experiences, and we’re thrilled to showcase two of our standout students at the fair this year! Hudson Wetzel and Sophia Verbrugge have been part of LMA’s program for years, performing together in bands like Ultraviolet and Somewhat Violet before stepping into leadership roles with our newest project—the LMA House Band. Designed to give young musicians a fast-paced and industry-standard experience, the House Band provides students the opportunity to learn a wide variety of popular music and perform live across Nashville in realistic gig settings.
Hudson is a versatile multi-instrumentalist who thrives on new challenges, from playing in his youth band to performing in musical theater productions at his middle school. Sophia is a powerhouse vocalist inspired by artists like ZZ Ward, and she pairs her love of music with her passion for visual art. Together, they bring energy, talent, and creativity to every stage they play.
At LMA, our mission is to give students the real musician experience—learning songs, playing shows, and connecting with audiences across Nashville. Hudson and Sophia represent the talent and dedication at the heart of LMA’s student community, and we’re excited to see them showcase their music!
